    I believe that teaching music is the most important way for me to give back for everything that music—and the musical community—has given to me. Private music lessons offer a unique experience for those who want to really improve their playing, their abilities, and their musicianship, away from the limitations of group learning. In a private lesson, students develop their musical instincts to uncover their internal musicianship, improve their technical skills in order to access new areas of expression, and explore the exciting world of solo violin repertoire (it really is endless). I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today if it weren't for the many teachers, mentors, and guides I had along the way. Now, I aim to pass that on!

    Many professional musicians began taking lessons when they were very young, which means they learned a good chunk of their fundamental technique before they could really remember. I believe that, having started when I was ten, I'm in a very unique position as a teacher. Firstly, I learned my fundamentals much more recently, which makes it much easier for me to teach them. More importantly, though, I vividly remember discovering how much I loved music, I remember feeling that passion grow, and the impact it had on me. It still moves me every day, every single time that I hear, play, and teach music. That is what I want to pass on.
